This 2025 year marks the 150th anniversary of Thai telecommunications that begun on 1875 with the first telegraph line between its capital, Bangkok, to the main port city of Thailand’ gulf (Parknum, Samutprakarn province). Telecommunications have been a crucial element in Thailand's development for over one and half century.
